Anna and Paul
Anna and Paul had rented for 5 years in London and now wanted to buy a house.
From the US, having rented in London for 5 years and realising how much they loved London, they decided to buy a home as somewhere to live and as a long term investment for their family. We helped them find properties to view. Once "the property" was found, we supported them through all the negotiations until solicitors were instructed and contracts were exchanged.

Anushka
Anushka was relocating to London with her husband and young son. They both worked in the City and they wanted their son to attend a state school with an “Outstanding” Ofsted report.
2021 has seen many clients who are relocating to London have to remotely find a home and a school for their children. Not an easy task even when actually in the UK; it could be even more stressful doing it remotely. But it can be done, and done successfully.

2021 saw many clients relocate to London and have to remotely find a home and a school for their children. Not an easy task. But it can be done, and done successfully.
After a video call to meet each other and discuss the client’s needs and wants, we then started to look at possible areas, the transport options and, most importantly, the local schools – both primary and secondary schools. Once we had identified their top 5 schools of choice, we started to look for properties near to the schools. The property search was sent out to agents and the client sent, via email, any suitable properties. We also included any available videos of the properties. The client pre-selected the properties they wanted to see and we arranged a live viewing for the client.
We supported our client in helping them to structure their offer, forwarded it to the agent and negotiated it on their behalf until agreed by both the client and the landlord. Once the tenancy agreement was signed, we could then apply, on behalf of the client, to the schools of choice for their son. We were able to secure a property next door to their first choice of school and their son was offered a place within a week of applying, despite the school being officially oversubscribed.
Result: a happy family and invitation round for tea once the pandemic is over!
Isabelle
Isabelle had a daughter already studying in the UK and wanted to relocate the family to London to be closer to her.
Isabelle had a daughter already studying in the UK and wanted to relocate the family to London to be closer to her. She and her husband could work from London so that wasn’t an issue. But they did have a younger child of school age that they wanted to attend a UK private school.

Timing for this client was everything. We needed to secure a school place a year in advance of them arriving in the UK.
The first task was to identify the best fit UK private schools in and around London and then start applying. We needed to find just the right school for their son in term of academia, syllabus and the culture of the school too. The parents also wanted a school that offered the IB curriculum not GCSEs and A’levels. Friends and family had recommended schools all over London and the Home Counties but based on our research we narrowed it down to just two schools in central London as being the best fit not just for the child but the family as a whole too. Interviews were arranged for the family with the Head Teachers of each school and after receiving offers from both schools, the family accepted an offer at their number one choice of school. All we had to do then was to find them a home: near the school, near the office, close to shops, restaurants and parks and easy access to Heathrow. No problem!
The search started 6 months after the school was secured and after a number of remote viewings, the family came to London and viewed several properties in person. They found their perfect home and an offer was submitted and accepted with Anderson Associates Relocation negotiating from London whilst the family were in the US.
Result: a happy family all based in the UK and close to each other.

Belen contacted me from Latin America. Her dream was to attend university in the UK.
She was an extremely bright girl and passionate about improving the rights for women in her home country. Not only was she completing her Baccalaureate in her home country, she also studying for 3 A’levels at the same time. We worked together to complete her UCAS form and transcribe her grades. From her 5 choices, she got 3 offers and most importantly from her first university of choice.
Result: a future UN Ambassador for women’s rights?

Lena was a client who already had a career as an artist and graphic illustrator.
She was 25, originally from Russia and educated in Greece! She was already well-known in her field and had shown at exhibitions, but she knew that she wanted a formal qualification and to learn from others in her field. She had already identified the courses and colleges to which she wanted to apply. We helped her complete her UCAS form and arranged for her to (virtually) visit all the colleges, meet the lecturers and see their facilities. As English wasn’t her mother-tongue, she had to take the IELTS test to prove her proficiency. She already had the “Right to remain” status in the UK so a visa was not needed. Interestingly, her 2nd choice of university became her 1st choice after her virtual visit. They offered her a place which she accepted immediately and she is now very happy at her college of choice and even thinking of doing an MA too.
Result: a very happy student with “designs” on the future.
